I became inspired to make art jewelry after 10 years of being a serious collector. I took my first class at the Toledo Museum of Art and I was hooked. Obsessed, is more accurate. I am a passionate maker and still collect the work of other jewelry artists as often as I can.

I love mastering new ideas and processes so my work is very eclectic. I am fond of using color on metal in a variety of ways so I work with enamels, resins, stones, concrete, whatever suits my purpose.

I am inspired by mid-century modernism, the natural world, architecture, and the materials. I really draw inspiration from just about anything, as most artists do. I've been metalsmithing and enameling for over 20 years.

When I am not working on metal, I love to cook, listen to music, entertain, and spend time with my husband and 2 cats. We have a 1.5 acre woodland garden that keeps us busy in warmer months. It never fails to inspire and is a magical place to spend free time.

I want to educate and inspire a new generation of metal artists and collectors! I have shown my work in many international and national exhibitions and have been published in over 20 books.

I make each piece by hand, from start to finish. I fabricate all the metal, set all the stones, do all the enameling and finishing. I do not have any assistance of any kind, and I like it that way.
